Mickey Rourke’s first role after his Oscar-worthy turn in The Wrestler will be as a hit man who botches a hit and then poses as a priest to avoid the heat in the film St. Vincent.
While a great deal of the plot is unknown, the film turns when Rourke hears the confession of his target, and then his morality is tested.
Sounds interesting.
St. Vincent will be directed by Walter Hill, who directed Rourke in 1989′s gangster-movie Johnny Handsome.
Production begins later this year.
